Places where they don't call themselves Catholic (because, like, my granny was Catholic) and then spend all their time coming up with intricate relativistic excuses for removing everything even remotely Catholic looking (nice Churches, latin, chant, habits, crosses, belief in God, that sort of thing)... they seem to be doing okay.
If only there were more such places.

why do all the Dominican sisters have such naff habits? I mean, that veil - ewwww :-(
Whatever else might one think of the community of St John, for example, they do have a very classy habit. Or the Polish Carmelite sisters of the Child Jesus. Nice. Or the CFR sisters - a good "look". Missionaries of Charity, ditto. I saw this great habit in Rome, some Asian sisters, very dark turquoise tunic and baggy trousers and a veil (sounds terrible, but it was great).Or the wackily-coloured but habitty habits of the Little Family of the Exodus? Or those ones where the veil is just a giant scarf thing twisted round the back of the head. Or or or... But no, all Dominican sisters' habits, without exception, are naff, and the veils worse. Wait, no - there are the traddy non-schismatic Dominican sisters in France. That's it.
