Find out more about The Birmingham Three!
Blogged by James Preece on 30th July 2012
For only £2.50 you can attend a guided tour where you can "find out more" about the history of the Oratory. Including:
...the ongoing campaign to "Free The Birmingham Oratory Three” (two priests and a lay brother who were exhiled from the Oratory in 2010).
Come and find out more about this charming building and it’s history on our private guided tour.

Unfortunately I found out about this event too late... it was last Sunday. So my questions about The Birmingham Three remain unanswered.

There is nothing to speculate about. The three all left because they wanted to. Lewis and Philip both hated Birmingham and are very happy in South Africa and Canada. Dermot wanted to return to Ireland. There's no more to it than that. No conspiracy, no mystery, no story. Sorry, Mr Preece.

"Dermot wanted to return to Ireland" is an absolute falsehood. He lives in enforced "canonical" exile. He was forced to quit his home at barely 10 hours notice. Some of his personal belongings are still kept in safe storage for him as he has NO official place he can effectively call "home." For now he lives under the kind hospitality of the Irish Dominicans and is still denied his canonical right [despite being "guilty of no wrongdoing whatsoever"] to exercise a public ministry. get your facts right Mr!

And your source of information is what? Someone at the Garden House again? Have you actually spoken to Fr Fenlon recently?
